Eden Elam
Editor-in-Chief

Eden Elam (she/her), MFA, is a Washington, DC–based designer and strategist whose work spans film, tech, publishing, and the built environment.
Eden brings a systems-oriented, relationship-driven approach to shaping brands, narratives, and cultural initiatives. Eden holds an MFA from Parsons School of Design, where she authored an award-winning thesis (Spark Award, 2025) on redesigning the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form to promote clarity and ease for high school students. Eden currently serves on the Board of Directors of AIGA DC and on the Executive Alumni Council of The New School University.
Shadé Reneé
Designer

Shadé Reneé (she/her) is a designer and co-founder of ArtCor, a gallery and cultural space in Washington, DC’s Union Market neighborhood that highlights emerging Black artists and designers.
Her practice spans visual identity, spatial design, and curatorial work, with a focus on creating platforms that center Black creativity, authorship, and community. Through her work, she explores how design can function as both an aesthetic and civic tool, shaping environments that foster connection, dialogue, and cultural visibility.
Anisa Olufemi
Curator

Anisa Olufemi M. (she/they) is a curator, writer and cultural worker dedicated to amplifying the work of underrepresented emerging artists within and without arts institutions.
To date, Anisa has mounted exhibitions in galleries, museums, and alternative art spaces in Washington, DC and Chicago, and presented research at various institutions including the Cincinnati Art Museum and the University of Oregon. They hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School Of The Art Institute of Chicago.
Myles Loftin

Myles Loftin (he/him) is a contemporary visual artist and photographer acclaimed for his compelling explorations of identity, race, and societal constructs.
Born and raised in Maryland, Loftin’s artistic journey began at a young age, inspired by the vibrant culture and diverse landscapes of his surroundings. His innate passion for storytelling through imagery led him to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Parsons School of Design, where he honed his technical skills and developed a distinct visual language. His work often intersects with themes of youth culture, fashion, and social justice, reflecting his deep engagement with contemporary issues and his commitment to fostering dialogue and empathy through art.
Keith Elam
Music & Marketing Strategist

Keith Elam (he/him) is a marketing strategist with over six years of experience in the fashion and entertainment industry.
He began his career as a wardrobe stylist, working with various artists and brands such as Travis Scott, Offset, Moncler and Buscemi. He has guided impactful digital campaigns at Warner Music Group and Secretly Group, where he specialized in digital advertising, and platform strategy. Keith also manages the estate of his father, Guru (Gang Starr), overseeing publishing, licensing, and brand partnerships. Rooted in a lifelong connection to music, Keith is now a partner at Itybell Studios, a private recording studio in Midtown, Manhattan.
Jennifer Rittner
Professor, Writer

Jennifer Rittner (she/her) is a writer, educator, communications strategist, and design scholar who serves as Assistant Professor of Strategic Design and Management and Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Learning at Parsons School of Design at The New School.
Her work examines the intersections of design, power, equity, and social value, and she has published widely in outlets including The New York Times, AIGA Eye on Design, and Core77. Rittner is also the co-editor of The Black Experience in Design: Identity, Expression & Reflection (MIT Press, 2022), a landmark anthology centering Black perspectives in design practice, education, and culture.
Jonah Nigh
Development Executive

Jonah Night (he/him) is a fundraiser, public speaker, comedian, and producer whose career bridges the arts, education, philanthropy, and media.
Most recently, he served as Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at The Juilliard School and held senior positions at The New School, The Jewish Museum, Lincoln Center, and Columbia University. A former opera singer, Nigh performs internationally as a comedian and is a sought-after public speaker on DEI, leadership, philanthropy, and nonprofit strategy, with engagements for Bloomberg Philanthropies, CUNY, Columbia Business School, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Inclusion Initiative, and other organizations.
