HOMME DC was founded by curator and creative director, Amir Browder, and it has been in business since 2014. It is a forward-thinking art gallery and space located in Washington D.C. We provide a unique platform for the art experience, including visual arts, performing arts, and any other unique experience that elevates the arts through exhibiting diverse voices and talents that are adding to today’s contemporary art scene in Washington D.C. and beyond.

Transformer

Transformer is a Washington, DC based 501 (c)(3) artist-centered, non-profit visual arts organization. Founded in June 2002 by artists & arts organizers, Transformer’s mission is to connect, elevate, and serve a diversity of emerging artists and arts leaders. Transformer develops innovative, multi-faceted exhibition and program platforms, both independently and through global partnerships, to present artists’ evolving ideas and work, advance new and best visual arts practices, and engage audiences with emerging contemporary art.

ArtCor is a creative studio and cultural center transforming overlooked spaces into interactive environments for expression, exchange, and experimentation. Through installations, events, and design-forward storytelling, ArtCor reimagines how we gather, connect, and remember — proving that art can be beautiful, functional, and deeply integrated into daily life.

anacostia arts center

The Anacostia Arts Center (AAC) is a multi-use cultural hub in Washington D.C.’s Historic Anacostia neighborhood, serving as a home for local artists, small businesses, and cultural organizations, featuring a Black Box Theater, galleries, cafes, retail, and incubator spaces like The HIVE, aiming to boost the creative economy and revitalize the community, though it is currently undergoing renovation to expand and modernize these facilities.
